This community service project aimed to improve household economic independence among housewives through financial recordkeeping assistance in Kampung Jandi Mulia, Langkat Regency. A total of 20 participants underwent a four-week training and mentoring program covering daily cash flow recording, budgeting, and financial decision-making simulations. Results showed a significant increase in participants' financial recording habits and saving behaviors. Before the program, only 3 participants had savings, which increased to 14 after the intervention. Participant satisfaction reached 90%, with an average financial literacy score increase of 38%. The practical and participatory-based training model proved effective in promoting positive financial behavior change. This initiative demonstrates that contextual financial education can serve as a sustainable household empowerment strategy. Further development is needed through institutional integration to maximize and sustain the impact of the program.
